- Notes: Responsibilities:; senior surveyors in conducting land and site surveys; up, operate, and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS units, and levels; and record field data accurately; establish and mark boundaries, levels, and reference points on construction or land development sites; data entry and drafting of survey maps or drawings using CAD or GIS software; all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and stored; safety procedures during field operations; in preparing survey reports, sketches, and documentation; field observations and results to the senior surveyor or project engineer; other related tasks as assigned by supervisors; Requirements:; or certificate in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field; knowledge of surveying tools, methods, and data collection techniques; to read and understand survey drawings and maps; mathematical and analytical skills; fit and willing to work outdoors in various conditions; teamwork and communication skills; experience as an Assistant or Trainee Surveyor is an advantage; Skills:; with CAD, GIS, or surveying software; to detail and commitment to accuracy; to follow instructions and meet project deadlines; driver’s license (if field travel is required)
