• Notes: Summary A Vehicle Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing company vehicles, including buses; candidate must hold a valid bus driving license and may be required to drive company buses for testing, moving, or operational purposes when needed; Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on buses and company vehicles Conduct inspections (engine, brakes, tires, battery, lights, oil levels) Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults Repair or replace defective parts Maintain service records and maintenance logs Ensure vehicles comply with safety regulations Drive buses for testing or operational needs when required Coordinate with workshop supervisor and fleet manager Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools and equipment Required Qualifications Valid Bus Driving License (mandatory) Proven experience in vehicle or bus maintenance (2+ years preferred) Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems Basic understanding of safety procedures Physically fit and able to work in workshop conditions Skills & Abilities ✔ Strong mechanical and technical skills ✔ Attention to detail ✔ Problem-solving ability ✔ Responsible driving skills ✔ Ability to work independently Work Conditions Full-time position Workshop and outdoor environment May require emergency repairs or overtime Combination of maintenance work and driving duty
