• Notes: Summary A Swine Farm Laborer is responsible for assisting in the daily care, feeding, and management of pigs on a farm; worker ensures animals are healthy, properly fed, and living in clean and safe conditions according to farm standards; Responsibilities Feed pigs according to schedule and nutrition guidelines Clean and disinfect pens, barns, and farm equipment Monitor animal health and report sickness or injuries Assist in breeding, farrowing (birth process), and piglet care Provide vaccinations and basic treatment under supervision Maintain water supply systems Assist with loading and unloading animals for transport Follow biosecurity and farm safety procedures Maintain farm records and daily activity logs Required Qualifications Previous experience in livestock or farm work (preferred) Basic understanding of animal care and hygiene Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials Ability to work in farm conditions (odor, noise, outdoor environment) Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours Skills & Abilities ✔ Hardworking and responsible ✔ Basic animal handling skills ✔ Ability to follow instructions ✔ Good physical stamina ✔ Teamwork ability Work Conditions Full-time position Farm environment (indoor & outdoor) May require early morning shifts Exposure to livestock odors and farm conditions
