- Notes: Responsibilities:; surveyors in measuring distances using chains, tapes, or electronic measuring devices; Carry, set up, and maintain surveying equipment such as total stations, levels, and GPS devices; rods, targets, and other reference points during surveying operations; field data accurately under the guidance of the surveyor; establish survey lines, boundaries, and reference markers on-site; equipment in good working condition and report any damages; safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear; the survey team in moving and organizing materials in the field; in basic calculations or data checks as required; Requirements:; understanding of surveying methods and equipment; fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions; to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team; math and measurement skills; experience as a survey assistant or field helper is an advantage; Skills:; with land surveying terminology and procedures; to detail and accuracy in fieldwork; communication and teamwork abilities; to learn and take on additional responsibilities in surveying
